The Manila Central Post Office is the central post office of the city of Manila, Philippines. It is located in the Intramuros district of the city, at the bank of the Pasig River. The building's main entrance faces the Liwasang Bonifacio. It was severely damaged in World War II, and rebuilt in 1946 preserving most of its original design. It is the head office of the Philippine Postal Corporation, and houses the country's main mail sorting-distribution operations.
Designed by Filipino architect Juan M. Arellano, the post office building was built in neoclassical architecture in 1926.

The City of Parañaque (pop. 552,660; 2007 Census), or simply Parañaque (Filipino: Lungsod ng Parañaque), is one of the cities and municipalities that make up Metro Manila in the Philippines.
It is bordered on the north by Pasay City, by Taguig City to the northeast, Muntinlupa City to the southeast, by Las Piñas City to the southwest, and by Manila Bay to the west.
Palanyag, the old name for the city of Parañaque, generally means "my beloved", among other definitions, for as far as its residents are concerned, this best describes their affection for their hometown. Another version came from the combination of the terms "palayan" and "palalayag", the former meaning ricefields of which the city once abounded in and the latter pertaining to the sailing and fishing occupation of many of its residents.

eycauayan City is a component city in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. The city is located about 19 km north of Manila and about 22 km south of Malolos City, the provincial capital city. It is bounded by the town of Marilao to the north, Valenzuela City to the south, Caloocan City (North) to the east, and the town of Obando to the west. It encompasses an aggregate area of 22.1 square kilometres, representing 1.17% of the total land area of the province of Bulacan. According to the latest census, it has a population of 196,569 people in 34,882 households. In 2007, Meycauayan and neighboring district of Marilao were listed as 2 of the most polluted cities in the world.

The Batasang Bayan (English: Legislative Advisory Council) was the consultative assembly & legislative advisory council that help formulate decrees promulgated by the Ferdinand Marcos from its inauguration on September 21, 1976 to October 30, 1978. As such powers & functions shall consist of but not limited to helping & advising the President of his lawmaking functions, providing a forum for the citizenry, through the herein designated representatives, to ventilate their views on national issues, as well as their opinions on the manner of administering the affairs of the government, providing a forum for the rationalization, unification, & clarification on the policies & programs of the Executive Branch of Government & providing a mechanism for actually conducting a review of the structures, policies & efficiencies of the different Barangays & Sanggunians & submit its finding & recommendations to the President as mandated by the 1973 Constitution as the Philippines shifted from a presidential to a parliamentary type of government & Presidential Decree No. 995.
